Aldo Rossi's Cupola, 3 cups
Caffè Vergnano and Alessi join forces to reinterpret Aldo Rossi’s La Cupola. Designed in 1988 and inspired by the dome of the Basilica of San Gaudenzio in Novara, this iconic espresso coffee maker, a symbol of Made in Italy design, meets the excellence of Italian coffee. The aesthetics of a contemporary icon combine with the quality of a coffee that has been spreading the culture of authentic Italian espresso around the world since 1882.
The handle and knob are coloured in the pink of Women in Coffee, Caffè Vergnano’s social sustainability project which, since 2019, has supported initiatives promoting the empowerment of and respect for women. A touch of colour that speaks of the concrete commitment of two companies with a long tradition, united by a shared vision of “small table-top architecture” that has long been synonymous with beauty and function.

That’s why we created our porcelain cups: to bring out the very best in your favourite coffee.
With its thermal inertia, porcelain keeps the ideal temperature for tasting, which begins with the aromas we can already smell thanks to the perfect diameter of our cup. Our cups come in different colours, but the inside is always white, for the truest perception of the colour of the coffee and its velvety crema.

Softener filter
Prevents limescale build-up
The softener filter reduces limescale build-up throughout the water circuit, improving the performance of your capsule coffee machine and helping to prevent the pipes from clogging, extending the life of your machine. Softened water also enhances the coffee’s aromas for a better flavour profile.
How to use: Installation is very simple: just place the filter in the machine’s water tank.
